Re: Handle old email

I initially created my sysop account with my fullname.
2026-01-03 22:24:04 /sbbs/fido/netmail/1.msg SBBSecho (1:3634/12) To: Granville Errol Casey, Jr (1:3634/58) Attr: 0081 (PRIVATE, KILLSENT) Unknown user 2026-01-03 22:24:04 import_netmail(/sbbs/fido/netmail/1.msg) returned 12
I have a netmail message that is using that name, but cannot be
delivered, since I changed it from "Granville Errol Casey, Jr"
to "Errol Casey"
I tried to use alias.cfg to try and forward it to the sysop account
without success.
alias.cfg is used by the mail server, not SBBSecho.
Is there another way, or am I trying the alias incorrectly?
Yes, echocfg->NetMail Settings->Sysop Aliases. Add it there.
